Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Workout Log is a personal hobby project. It's built for our own use and shared freely with anyone who finds it useful. This policy explains what data we collect — which is almost nothing.
What we collect
When you create an account, we store a username and a hashed password. That's it. We don't ask for your email address, phone number, real name, or any other personal information. We have no way to identify you as a real person.
Workout data
Your exercises, workouts, routines, and body metrics are stored in our database so you can access them when you log in. This data is linked to your username, not to your identity.
What we don't collect
We don't use cookies for tracking. We don't use analytics services. We don't collect IP addresses. We don't use advertising. We don't share, sell, or analyze any data. There are no third-party scripts on this site.
Data export and deletion
You can export all your data as a JSON file at any time from your profile page. You can also delete your account entirely — when you do, all data associated with your username is permanently removed from our database.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on a self-hosted server in the Netherlands. We don't use cloud services or third-party hosting providers for your workout data.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how data is handled, we'll update this page. Since we don't have your email, we can't notify you — so check back occasionally if you're curious.

Questions? This is a hobby project, but you can reach us through the app or website. Don't expect a legal department — it's just one person.
